Presents for me!!!

I was cleaning out my wallet this past week and found a $25 gift certificate to Target. My closest Target is 30 minutes away and I wanted books, not other stuff. So, I swung over to plastic jungle. There, I traded my Target Gift Card for an Amazon Giftcard. I had to pay a little, around $1.50, but that is a small price to pay for books. I mailed in my gift card, and three business days later I got an email with my gift certificate! I love that! I went ahead and ordered three books! YAY!

I pre-ordered The Borgia Betrayal and Song of the Nile. Both are sequels and I loved the prequels! VERY excited!

Wow, I've never heard of Plastic Jungle before. That sounds like an awesome service!

A Book Junkie. My love affair with books started when my parents bought me Gentle Annie, a True Story of a Civil War Nurse. I read it. And read it. And read it. When my mom took it away from me, it had been eaten by a dog, ripped and the binding was non existent.

A Purist. I love the idea of e-books, but nothing can compare with the feel of the pages beneath your fingers. I fear that one day, the next generation will never have the chance to crack open a new book and smell the new book smell.

In love. Like Thomas Jefferson, books are a necessity in my life. I love new books, old books, any books. In the words of our famous president, " I cannot live without books." Touche, Mr. President, Touche.
