King Louis X has murdered his wife and exiled his mistress to clear the way for his new beloved bride and mother of his heirs to be, Clemence of Hungary. I loved the continuation of this family saga. The introduction of new characters keeps the story going and fresh. The family drama is amazing. These books are everything you could ever want.

A Book Junkie. My love affair with books started when my parents bought me Gentle Annie, a True Story of a Civil War Nurse. I read it. And read it. And read it. When my mom took it away from me, it had been eaten by a dog, ripped and the binding was non existent.
