The Ethical Meat Handbook by Meredith Leigh

What goes into your food? Do you even know? What about factors such as Nutrition, environmental concerns, ethics and sustainability? Do they enter into the equation?  This handbook presents a picture of table to plate that makes eating meat sustainable, environmentally friendly and nutritious. 

I picked the book up because I hope to one day (soon) have my own farmstead. I liked that the chapters were divided by species, some I have raised, but would need some refreshing on and some I never have. While I don't have any of the animals to practice on, the book looks to have sound advice, yummy recipes and a great chance to learn!
