The Conqueror's Wife by Stephanie Thorton

Women surround Alexander from his earliest days to his last. Three of them tell his story and ; his sister Thessalonike, his sister-in-law and wife of his most trusted companion, Drypteis and Roxana, his street wise wife. Three separate stories unite to create one spectacular man.

The three women are distinct and wonderful. All were amazing in their own way, but I really liked Drypteis. I also liked how Alexander's mother fit in the mix. This book was really good. The action was there, but not overpowering, as was the romance. This book really has it all. This was my first Thorton book and I can't wait to read more! Very highly recommended.
